Guinness World Records were looking to expand their reach by tapping into Germany’s creative hubs, targeting both brands and agencies who were looking to make and break their own record to enhance brand awareness and public engagement.

Solution

To help Guinness expand their reach tapping into Germany’s creative hubs, targeting both brands and agencies who were looking to break their own record to enhance brand awareness and public engagement. We created a multi-touch campaign which consisted of Email, Linkedin, direct mail and telesales.

At the heart of the campaign was a creative DM package that contained simple but effective contents; some Smarties, a pair of branded chopsticks, and an opportunity to break a world record — right there at their desks.

After sharing their efforts using #MakeItOfficial, we followed up to get them thinking about how they could start making and breaking some records of their own — with Guinness’s help of course.
